Ice River

This braided river is always slushy, with large floes of ice floating periodically. That is, if the temperature reaches above freezing. Foraging is relatively good here, the real problem is shelter. Located on a minor sandur, winds can be rough, and can sting equines with flying silt. There is little shelter, with only a few scattered boulders left behind by an ancient glacier. However, the food is abundant, even in winter.
